《Small Wabi Tea Bowls》

Among a series of tea bowls, such as the "Mizunoko Chawan" of old Shigaraki ware and Ido Kohiki ware from Goryeo, there are many small tea bowls like "Koido" (small Ido). The tea bowls made by Chojiro, which Rikyu is said to have desired, are subtly fired and small overall. Being small, they fit in the palm of one's hand. I believe that the natural forms held in the palm of the hand are Rikyu's wabi-cha.
