《Small Wabi Tea Bowl》
Among the sequence of tea bowls such as Ko-Shigaraki with the inscription "Mizu-no-Ko Tea Bowl," Goryeo, and Ido Kohiki, there are many small tea bowls similar to Ko-Ido.
The tea bowls made by Chojiro, said to have been desired by Rikyu, are deeply fired and small overall.
Being small, they fit in the palm of one's hand.
Perhaps this natural quality, contained within the palm, is Rikyu's wabi-cha.
*Comes with a box inscription by the artist.
