《Small Wabi Tea Bowl》
Among a series of tea bowls such as old Shigaraki with the inscription "Mizu no Ko" (Child of Water), Goryeo, and Ido Kohiki, there are many small tea bowls like Ko-Ido.
The tea bowls made by Chojiro, which Rikyu is said to have desired, were deeply fired and generally small.
Because they are small, they fit in the palm of one's hand.
I believe that having each of nature's elements in the palm of one's hand is Rikyu's wabi-cha.
-Celadon-
Celadon is described as "rain passing and sky clearing" or "jade-colored celadon," compared to the beauty of nature.
I believe it is very well suited for tea bowls with "kirei-sabi" (a clean, refined rusticity).
